After a tropical storm came through, one of our trees was badly damaged and some of the other trees that were close to our house, needed trimming. I was told by another tree company, that the damaged tree needed to be removed and so did another tree on our property. Ira Stockwell evaluated our trees and agreed that the damaged tree needed to be removed but the other tree could be saved simply by wiring it. Since our trees are over 50 years old, my husband and I were thrilled that we wouldn't lose both trees. Ira came with some employees and removed the damaged tree (which was no more than 15 feet from our house) with care and ease. He trimmed and wired the other tree and trimmed our largest tree, all very close to our home. He also had an employee come when he was finished, and remove the wood he could not put through the chipper. The job was done well, on time and within budget. He was courteous and knowledgeable and his prices were affordable. I would highly recommend Colonial Tree.
